There is an appropriate metaphor in this current exhibition for Simon Edwards' journey as an artist, 'finding the way,' exploring streams and pathways, yet entirely conscious of being in that moment, rather than simply looking at the destination ahead. Edwards has also recently returned from China and the attention to a deepening sense of space in these new works represents a welcome and revitalising development in his response to the land. Finding the Way is open to September 30.
