The Foundation invests in impact programmes which focus on equity to ensure no child is left behind, and prevention to keep our children safe and healthy in the community, and funds programmes which save and extend lives, including the Starship National Air Ambulance; new technology and treatments which result in faster recovery and better outcomes, and supports patient wellbeing, lifting spirits, and emotional and family support.
Starship is much more than a world class Auckland-based hospital. Starship is the foundation for child health in New Zealand, empowering care providers across the country to ensure our children get the best care possible.
Great Full’s second project is a range of Bum Huggers, also known as briefs, hipsters or briefs. These soft, natural essentials are made in New Zealand from unbleached fabric spun in Melbourne by ABMT Textiles, a fully certified processor of Organic Cotton knits under the Australian Certified Organic standards with all fibres Global Organic Textile Standard certified. Garments are 90% cotton, 10% elastane. They are screen-printed by Auckland Fabric Printers, manufactured by CMT Stuff in Auckland. Each order is packaged in home compostable packaging from Grounded NZ and delivered by Parcel Port and NZ Post. All profits from every sale go to Bowel Cancer New Zealand to help increase awareness and early diagnosis, as bowel cancer is treatable when detected early enough and we can help find a cure.
