7. Celebrating 5 Years. The Central Art Gallery, The Arts Centre Te Matatiki Toi Ora, 2 Worcester Blvd.
The Central turns 5 in April, and its directors, Richard Laing and Jonathan Smart, celebrate 46 exhibitions over that period with a line-up of senior, mid-career and emerging artists and an awareness of the historical connections to the Arts Centre’s former galleries. Nineteen artists in the April exhibition range from recent postgraduate Zara Dolan to renowned printmaker/painter Stanley Palmer. April 7 – May 15.
