Inspired by a childhood holidaying on the West Coast, where playing cards and chess matches was inevitable for any length of stay. In her signature metalwork style, Hannah transforms a selection of playing cards into painting-size portraits. Through Four of a Kind, she creates a tribute to the bond between her and her three sisters; standing in solidarity as they each navigate the seas of their own lives as mothers, wives and daughters. Accompanying her larger-than-life wall-hung playing cards are colourful limited edition chess sets with metal chess boards and ceramic chess pieces; art at its most functional, strategic and fun!
